Technology and the Brain

Technological advances have created tools like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) that create beautiful and detailed images of the brain. These images help scientists study the nervous systems of both healthy and sick people. And as the technology improves, so does our understanding of what makes our brains tick.
