Scientists can use imaging techniques like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to study the developing brain. In this workshop, Damien Fair, a professor at Oregon Health and Science University, talks about how these techniques are used to explore ways to better characterize developmental brain disorders like autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder to help guide future research into therapies.
In this first section of a three-part series, Fair discusses the brain’s resting state.
